How to read this plan

Mileage Amounts

The mile amounts range from beginners to advanced runners.

  • If you intend to follow the Beginner plan, run the lowest distance listed on a date.

  • If you intend to follow the Plus plan, run the highest listed distance.

  • If you intend to follow the Intermediate plan, choose a distance halfway between the range listed.

Rest Days

What do you do on days with no mileage or strength walks listed?

REST!

What’s a
Strength Walk

Strength walks are intentional walks meant to incorporate some strength and rehab while still providing you some endurance.

Every 5 minutes of your walk, perform one of the following:

Break 1: 3x10 squats to a bench
Break 2: 3x10 lunges
Break 3: 3x10 calf raise
Break 4: 3x10 squats to a bench
Break 5: 3x10 lunges
